Prof. Veljko Potkonjak and teaching assistant Kosta Jovanović won the Belgrade award for the event of the year 2012, in Belgrade – Days of Future: Robotics (organization team: Aleksandra Drecun, Serbian Center for the Promotion of Science; prof. Veljko Potkonjak, teaching assistant Kosta Jovanovic, School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade)
Presentation of the NAO robot will be held at ETF (16th of april, 12h, amphitheater 65). The main idea of the event is to demonstrate abilities of one of the most advanced humanoid robots in the world – NAO. Nao (58cm – height) is able to talk and make intelligent decisions. It can also walk, run, hit the ball, climb up the stairs, dance, react on voice commands…
For the third time in a row, School of Electrical Engineering is organising gathering during the Brain Awareness Week. PhD, Master and Bachelor students will show their results in acquisition, processing and analysis of electrophysiological signals (brain, muscle). BAW gathering include series of lectures, poster section, interactive demonstrations and competition between participants.
ETF Robotics group will participate at EBEC Belgrade – Belgrade Days of Engineers. Manifestation will be held in Belgrade (7-11 March). Beside the fact that young engineers will get opportunity to present their knowledge and skills, for the first time educational program will be organized with the idea that young people get additional informations about latest technology trends.
National Instruments Mechatronics / Robotics Workshop will be held in Belgrade on the 14th of March. The main goal of the seminar/workshop is to describe how to use LabVIEW in domains like control design, simulation, automation, mechatronics, robotics. We will discuss software and hardware platforms with proper demonstration and follow with workshop where we bring several DaNI robots where all attendees can have hands-on experience.
