Presentation of the NAO robot at ETF
Presentation of the NAO robot will be held at ETF (16th of april, 12h, amphitheater 65). The main idea of the event is to demonstrate abilities of one of the most advanced humanoid robots in the world – NAO. Nao (58cm – height) is able to talk and make intelligent decisions. It can also walk, run, hit the ball, climb up the stairs, dance, react on voice commands…
Brain Awareness Week
For the third time in a row, School of Electrical Engineering is organising gathering during the Brain Awareness Week. PhD, Master and Bachelor students will show their results in acquisition, processing and analysis of electrophysiological signals (brain, muscle). BAW gathering include series of lectures, poster section, interactive demonstrations and competition between participants.

EBEC Belgrade – Belgrade Days of Engineers
ETF Robotics group will participate at EBEC Belgrade – Belgrade Days of Engineers. Manifestation will be held in Belgrade (7-11 March). Beside the fact that young engineers will get opportunity to present their knowledge and skills, for the first time educational program will be organized with the idea that young people get additional informations about latest technology trends.
National Instruments Mechatronics/Robotics Workshop
National Instruments Mechatronics / Robotics Workshop will be held in Belgrade on the 14th of March. The main goal of the seminar/workshop is to describe how to use LabVIEW in domains like control design, simulation, automation, mechatronics, robotics. We will discuss software and hardware platforms with proper demonstration and follow with workshop where we bring several DaNI robots where all attendees can have hands-on experience.

ETF Robotics at “Day of Mechatronics” organized by Politehnika – school for new technologies
Inspired by manifestation “Days of future: Robotics”, Politehnika – school for new technologies organizes manifestation “Day of Mechatronics and Robotics”. The manifestation will be held in the school on the 14th of December 2012.
Special guests and lecturers: Institute Mihajlo Pupin – Center for robotics; ETF Robotics group from Department of Signals and Systems, Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade; Department of Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation, Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad. Brand New Engineers – from an integral to an engineer
„Brand New Engineers – from an integral to an engineer” is a seminar for students in different fields of electrical engineering. The main goal of the event is to present current projects that professors, assistants and researchers are working on, but also to meet students with the cutting edge technology and market trends.
At 4pm on Wednesday, November 14th, ETF Robotics team will give a lecture “Virtual laboratory for engineering”. Current level of the virtual lab will be presented, as well as possibilities for further research through the student’s diploma and master thesis.

Prof. Hiroshi Ishiguro – ONE OF 100 GENIUS OF TODAY IN BELGRADE
After the ASIMO robot exhibitions and more than 10.000 visitors, and compliant ECCEROBOT as the most growing trend in robotics, manifestation “Days of Future: Robotics” presents another famous name – prof. Hiroshi Ishiguro. Prof. Ishiguro from University of Osaka, Japan, is one of the most creative scientist today combining robotics with media, communication and sociology. Prof. Ishiguro lecture takes place at Knez Mihailova 5 (main exhibiotion venue) on the 9th of October at 19h.

Festival “Days of Future: Robotics” will be held from September 24 until October 15. The first popular-science festival in the Western Balkans is dedicated to robots and it will take place in the center of Belgrade, in the old deparment store Beograd in Knez Mihailova Street.
