ETF Robotics is a research group situated at the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering (ETF), Signals & Systems Department. Our research and teaching activities includes modeling & simulation, control and applications of robotic systems. Our scientific focus is oriented towards inherently safe, efficient, intelligent and autonomous physical robot interaction in industry and healthcare as core application domains.
ETF Robotics laboratory within Department of Signals and Systems at ETF, together with research groups from Center for Robotics at Institute Mihajlo Pupin (IMP) and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at University of Belgrade (MF) established unofficial organization – Belgrade Robotics Hub (BRH) with the final aim to support innovation adoption and transfer of robotics technologies to Serbian companies.
ETF Robotics and BRH are established on the foundations of so-called Belgrade School of Robotics, established by world renowned scientist M. Vukobratovic and R. Tomovic in 60’s. Together with Prof. Veljko Potkonjak, founder of robotics at ETF, they shaped worldwide humanoid and industrial robotics but also our scientific profile.
